Caley Mezerah, Forensic Analyst

Caley was born and raised in Tampa, Florida before pursuing her undergraduate’s degree in Criminal Justice at the University of Mississippi where she demonstrated a great aptitude for accounting. As an employee of CBIZ, Caley was able to take her studies from the classroom to the real world. She expressed her skills in communication, adaptability, problem solving, and dedication. Recognized for her hard work, Caley was asked to lead an intern training session and tasked with transitioning interns into the workplace. She also collaborated directly with client and managers to ensure all finances were properly reported, analyzed, and protected. After 2 years of public accounting experience, Caley has chosen to pursue Forensic Accounting and joined Perzel & Purdy Forensic CPA’s, LLC. in 2022. Caley is currently enrolled at the University of Southern New Hampshire to complete her Masters in Accountancy with an emphasis in Forensics. Once Caley completes her Master’s degree, she will begin her studies to become a CPA. Caley loves to travel and has currently been to 37 countries. She also enjoys spending her days outdoors exploring the beautiful sunshine state.
